Professor Cerio! I came into his system after he died, so I was never able to see him teach. Many thanks.

Do you believe that his Kenpo system is the best?

No. I don't believe any one system is the best. They all have pluses and minuses.

lol poor guy. Those cobra holds are painful. I learned one of them last week. I wish I could have gotten my black belt under him back when he was still alive.

I was fortunate enough to have been able to work with him on two occasions, I did a commercial for Nick Cerio's and also to just train with him. Professor Cerio was one of the nicest and funniest professors to ever learn from as you could see in this video. This video shows him as he truly was. Thank you for posting this.

I studied with 'Sifu' Cerio (as we called him then) back when I was 11 and 12 years old in 1974-75 in RI. He was my first martial arts instructor. He was such a great teacher and an inspiration. It is so nice to still be able to see him and hearing his voice again brings me right back to that time. thanks!

Too bad I started in 99, a year after he passed. I wish that I could have had the chance to at least meet him.

I'm in Val-Belair, Quebec, with United Studios of Self Defence. I showed this video to my instructor, and he was overjoyed to see Prof Cerio teaching.
