Sorry mate, Bile was good but when coe was at his peak and not fit or ill was the dogs bollox and would have been to hot to handle 4 Bile.

Abdi Bile was a great athlete beating Steve cram in 1986 world championship, now we have Mo Farah who is a british athlete originaly from Somaliland.

That's not to say that I don't think Bile was talented . He was and deserved to be a world champ in 87 but his record doesn't compare to Coe's.

If Bile at his best could only beat Coe by just over a metre, fouling him on the last bend, when Coe was 33 and carrying a slight injury, then there's no way Bile would have had a chance again Coe in 81 form, 84 form or even 86 form.

Aaaha no way Bile would have beaten Coe at his best or even near his best. Coe- multiple World Record holder, double Olympic gold medalist, supreme sprinter. Bile- pretty good for a couple of years. Coe was far far better.
